The Work Health and Safety Act 2011 (WHS Act) establishes a number of primary duties to ensure the health and safety of workers who could be exposed to Silica Dust.

East Coast Joint Sealers (Qld) has taken all measures to ensure the compliancy of the above Act by taking the following steps:

• – providing individually custom designed Fit Test Respirators for each of our staff
• – training on the correct use and wearing of Fit Test Respirators
• – providing “H” Class vacuums with our very own custom designed grinder shroud to collect dust/silica particles
• – training on the correct use of “H” Class Vacuums
